As we waited for the ambulance, this kind woman continued to keep my makeshift bandage tight. Directed by the others to where I was sitting, the paramedics duly arrived, and off I was whisked efficiently to hospital.

But to my huge regret, I didn’t get the name of the woman who stemmed my bleeding, nor of the others who helped.

If any one of these Good Samaritans was you, please can you get in touch with me via the Post; I would like to thank you personally.

You represent all that is good in Hong Kong, and during these difficult times, it is especially heartwarming to be the recipient of such kindness.
