INFORMATION agency Dun & Bradstreet Information Services (D & B) has obtained China's approval to establish in Shanghai a wholly owned foreign enterprise.

The setup allows the international business information company to operate an office in China without the need to partner another Chinese company, it said.

D & B said it would provide Chinese enterprises with a range of business information, including credit, marketing and information collection.

The firm's database includes information on 38 million international companies. It is affiliated with Dun & Bradstreet Corp.
